About Tom Santagato

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, share my experience and philosophy as an educational leader.  I have been working in the field of special education in both private and public schools for over 23 years.  Throughout that time, I have maintained simple core values; Focus on student achievement, provide a safe, stable, caring, nurturing environment which fosters individual student growth to ensure that each student can reach their maximum potential.

 

At the Bergen Center for Child Development (BCCD) our program is designed to meet the individual needs of each student with a variety of academic, instructional, and behavioral strategies.  This can only happen when you hire and maintain a qualified and dedicated professional staff. 

 

Currently, 78% of our staff have degrees with 24% having advanced degrees.
